Govt to remove names of Innocent People from ECL

ISLAMABAD: The Government has directed Interior Ministry to review Exit Control List and to remove the names of Innocent People.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary told media that around three thousand people are on ECL and all of them are not guilty.

The Information Minister said the cabinet discussed at the length and course of action for newly launched Naya Pakistan Housing Programme by the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, Interior Ministry will review and update the Exit Control List (ECL) soon of Innocent People only.
