ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has directed the authorities to verify degrees of employees appointed in Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television (PTV) after the year 2008.
A board of three members heads by Director General internal publicity wing Ministry of Information to head this verification process. Verification process covering all employees will from the senior officers and expected to be completed within a month.

In case of failure of verification of degrees by the HEC, the concerned officers and employees will be liable to deposit back the received salaries.
Notices will be issued to those officers who appointed them.
Governments want to ensure that all the employees in Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television (PTV) are qualified as political appointments were made in previous 2 tenures.
