RAWALPINDI: The prominent religious leader and the Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) Maulana Sami ul Haq killed in the targetted attack.

Religious scholar and former Senator Maulana Samiul Haq have been killed Targeted attack in Rawalpindi.

Jamiat-e-Islami Sami (JUI-S) Samiul Haq’s son confirmed the news.

Son Hamidul Haq says Maulana Samiul Haq was resting in his room during Asr time when his driver/guard went out for 15 minutes. When he returned, he found Samiul Haq dead in his bed and his body covered in blood.

Maulana Sami ul Haq was known was good relations with Afghanistan Taliban.
