The 3 hour event of Miss Universe 2018 will be aired on Fox only. The event is taking place on 16th December 2018.

The 67th Miss Universe will come to its conclusion with the crowing of Miss Universe  2018. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.

 Expectations have it that the event will be hosted by comedian Steve Harvey and supermodel Ashley Graham.

Thailand has hosted Miss Universe pageants twice before in 1992 and 2005. In the history of 67 years of Miss Universe Thailand has only won the title twice in the years 1965 and 1988.

  
On July 31, 2018, the President of the Miss Universe Organisation Paula Shugart announced that the 2018 pageant will be held in Thailand on December 17th. The announcement was made during a live press conference at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.

                 Miss Universe 2017

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa holds the title of Miss Universe 2017. She is the 66th Miss Universe, The 2017  pageant was hold on 26 November 2017. The event took place at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Iris Mittenaere ( Miss Universe 2016) of France crowned her successor  at the end of the event.
