CDA & ICT carrying out Anti-Encroachment Operation across the board

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad District Administration (ICT) are carrying out anti encroachment operation across the board.

All illegal constructions and encroachments are anti-encroachment during this operation. In this connection, CDA and Islamabad Administration (ICT) carried out a joint operation to remove encroachments/constructions on the right way of G.T Road from Sara-e-Kharbooza stop to Sangjani and demolished several buildings, plazas, markets and illegal constructions from the vicinity.

                  Anti-Encroachment Operation

The operations were participated by the entire officers and officials of Enforcement Directorate, officers of ICT and other concerned formations of the authority. While a heavy contingent of police was deployed and in order to, cater to any unpleasant situation Anti-Roit Unit of ICT Police were also deployed during the operation.

Anti-Encroachment Operation

Furthermore, heavy machinery of MPO Directorate and other formations of CDA were also utilized to demolish illegal constructions.

During this operation, 42 illegally constructed shops, 26 rooms, two (02) sheds, six (06) gates, 13 boundary walls, five (05) bill Boards, two (02) hotels, nine (09) wash rooms, two (02) containers and two (02) two storey offices constructed illegally on state land were completely demolished and several kanals of state land was retrieved from illegal occupants.
