KP govt launches ‘Emergency Alert PDMA KP’ app

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government launches the First of its kind smartphone application called ‘Emergency Alert PDMA KP’ to communicate with the public about the disaster and to provide the information and guidelines.

The mobile app ‘Emergency PDMA KP is available on Google Play store. The application is designed to deliver information and guidelines about ( floods, fire, earthquake, landslide, wind storm, and thunder rain) warnings.

The application is designed to update the weather forecast, flood report, advisories, rainfall forecast, and updates also including warnings, incidents, event maps, relief activities, and road blockage.

Emergency Alert PDMA KP application connects people and government together where people can report any incident and event directly and can get on-time updates as government issues warning.
