KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has written a letter to the Ministry of Interior to suspend mobile service on 9 and 10th of Muharram.
Sindh Government often blocks mobile phone services along the procession routes every year due to security measures.
The request to suspend mobile phone service has been sent to Interior Minister however, the final decision is pending.

The Government of Sindh has been pleased to declare 9th and 10th Septemeber, 2019 (Monday and Tuesday) as public holidays throughout the province of Sindh, on the ocassion of Ashura (9th and 10th Moharrum-ul-Harram 1441 A.H) for all offices, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh except essential services.

کرنے کی تجویز دے دی۔
ذرائع کے مطابق سندھ حکومت کی جانب سے 9،8 اور 10 محرم الحرام کے جلوس و مجالس کی سیکیورٹی کے لیے انتظامات کرلیے گئے ہیں جب کہ اس سلسلے میں جلوس و مجالس کے راستوں اور اطراف میں موبائل فون سروس معطل رکھنے کی تجویز دی گئی ہے۔
ذرائع نے بتایاکہ موبائل فون بند رکھنے کی تجویز سیکریٹری داخلہ سندھ کی جانب سے دی گئی جسے صوبائی حکومت نے وفاقی وزارت داخلہ کو بھیج دیا ہے۔
