KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motors issued a notification to the dealership across country stating that they are temporarily suspending booking of some vehicles.
The newly launched Suzuki Alto VX is also included, However Pak Suzuki completely halts Suzuki Vitara’s booking, The company appears to be suffering from a heavy loss after rupee devaluation and government policies for automotive industry.
Pak Suzuki stated in the notification,
Dear Concern,
we would like to bring into kind notice that booking of the following vehicles have been temporary suspended with immediate effect, therefore please do not accept booking of said vehicles.
- Suzuki Swift DLX
- Suzuki Mega Carry
- Suzuki Vitara
- Suzuki Cultus VXR
- Suzuki Alto VX
- Suzuki WagonR VXR
Pak Suzuki’s sales have gone down almost above 50% as compared to last year after the rupee devaluation and new government’s tax policies have badly effected Automotive Industry in Pakistan.
The company did not mention the reason for discontinuing of these vehicle’s variants. There was a time when Pak Suzuki was among the Top Seller for decades and now discontinuing temporarily.
Suzuki Mehran 800cc used to be the best selling car until it got discontinued after 30 years in production.
The United Bravo launched as competitor offering better features.
