TAJ Residentia misleading through advertisement: CDA

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a notification regarding TAJ Residentia Housing Scheme is cheating and deceiving the public at large through misleading advertisements.

CDA Director Urban Planning, Ijaz Ahmad Sheikh informed All the stakeholders, in their own interest that Taj Residential Housing sponsored by M/S Taj Residentia, is being advertised in Electronic and Print media. In the advertisement, false and misleading information has been given regarding the location of the Housing Scheme.

From the advertisement, it appears that the project site falls in Islamabad and has access from Sector I-14, which is false and against the facts, it is made clear that minor part of the scheme falls in the ICT limits for which No approval/Permission has been obtained from CDA.

Through this Notice, the general public at large is cautioned to remain watchful while carrying out any sales or purchase of property in the scheme.

The Sponsors and Advertisers are warned to immediately bring an end to this illegal advertisement. the Public is advised not to purchase any Plot, House, Shop, etc.. in the Projects where the sponsors/sellers have not obtained requisite approval, Permission, No Object Certification (NOC) etc.. from CDA, failing which the CDA shall not be responsible for the consequences.

The General Public is, therefore, requested to remain watchful while carrying out any sales or purchase of property and should have due verification from CDA.

The sponsors, Sellers, Builders, Developers, Advertisers, Promoters, Estate Agents etc. of illegal Developments are also warned though this Public Notice to refrain from carrying out illegal development, otherwise, legal action will be taken against them.

The concerned Directorates of the CDA are already engaged in taking stern action against the illegal constructions/development.
