The Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be arriving in Pakistan tomorrow for a day’s visit to meet PM Imran Khan according to the statement by the UAE Ambassador in Islamabad. According to the statement, the visit aimed “to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two brotherly countries”.
The Crown Prince will be meeting with the Prime Minister, Imran Khan “to discuss the ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries” according to the statement.
Just a week ago, the Emirati Minister for Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al-Nahyan met the president of Pakistan, Arif Alvi where they discussed ways they could improve on the bilateral ties between the two nations.
Now the Crown Prince is set to visit Pakistan tomorrow for a day long visit where he will meet the Prime Minister Imran Khan “to discuss the ways to enhance bilateral relations between countries” according to the statement issued by the UAE Ambassador in Islamabad.
The statement also mentioned that they will be discussing “matters of mutual interest and the regional and global situation”.
This is the second visit by the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to Pakistan as he also visited last year in January 2019 just after his country offered Pakistan $3 billion to help with the economy.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also visited UAE last month on a trip to Saudi Arabia while the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Bajwa was in Abu Dhabi.
Prime Minister, Imran Khan met with the Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman on December 14th where they discussed bilateral matter and regional developments.
The Chief of Army Staff on the other hand met with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan where they discussed “regional security environment and matters of mutual interest”.
King Hamad of Bahrain also gave Prime Minister, Imran Khan the country’s highest civilian award last month when he visited Saudi Arabia.
