Spotify music streaming app is down for iOS and Android users

Spotify music streaming app is not working on Android and iOS platforms in a fresh outage reported by users across the globe.

According to downdetector.com, Spotify went down around 6:16 am EST, 17 January 2020 and the app was not accessible in several countries.

The major outage appeared in United Kingdom (UK), France, and Germany as users were able to upload the stream while they were unable to play new tracks.

Current status, Spotify music streaming app is back online and the service has been fully restored for Android, iOS, Windows, Mac OS and as well as Linux platforms.

On January 2nd, the outage was detected when Spotify went down for the first time in the year 2020, this happens to be the second when online streaming service for music was inaccessible to users.
