Honda Atlas has launched a new variant of their popular Honda Civic, the Civic VTEC Turbo Oriel priced at Rs. 4,249,000/-.
The new Honda Civic 1.5 VTEC Turbo Oriel is powered by a 1.5L VTEC engine and a CVT transmission to go along with it. The engine outputs 170 hp at 5500 RPM and 220 Nm of torque at 1700 RPM.

The Civic VTEC Turbo Oriel has most of the other features that are present in other high variants of the car.

The booking for the car has reportedly started and the car is available without any waiting period on spot on full payment.
This seems as if this is becoming a common practice amongst car manufacturers in Pakistan where they are introducing new variants in hopes of increasing sales. Even Indus Motor Company (IMC) also followed the same method where they introduced a new version of their Fortuner called the Fortuner G in an attempt to boost sales.

This new Civic VTEC Turbo Oriel variant seems to be an attempt by Honda Atlas to increase sales in a time when the auto sector in Pakistan is going through a very bad crisis where companies are experiencing very low sales to the point that they have had to lay off many workers and halt production because of stocks piled up.
