ANP Candidate gunned down ECP postponed NA 254 Elections

 KARACHI: Unknown gunmen riding on motorcycles shot dead Awami National Party (ANP) candidate Sadiq Zaman Khattak and his six year old son in the Bilal Colony area of the Korangi.Mr. Khattak was contesting national assembly constituency, NA-254 on ANP ticket.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) postponed  the election on  NA-254 (Karachi-16) after the killing of the ANP candidate.
Unknown gunmen riding on motorcycles opened fire on Khattak outside a mosque located in the area. According to hospital sources five people were injured in the firing.
Election Offices and candidates from the ANP, PPP and MQM have been attacked in Karachi in the run-up to the general elections.
