Islamabad United won the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) against Multan Sultans by 8 wickets with 20 balls still remaining making this their first win of the tournament at the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Islamabad United won the toss and elected to field first which has been their pattern this tournament.
Multan Sultans despite loosing gave a very impressive performance scoring 164/8 with Zeeshan Ashraf making 50 runs from just 29 balls completing his half century followed by JM Vince who added 42 to their total and unfortunately was shy of 8 runs from completing his half century.

Islamabad United on the other had gave an exceptional performance scoring 165/2 and beating the Sultans by 8 wickets.
Luke Ronchi certainly out did himself scoring 74 runs from 45 balls followed by C Munro who was able to contribute 50 runs from just 32 balls.
Amad Butt certainly gave a very impressive performance taking 4 wickets for just 27 runs.
