Quetta Gladiators won the ninth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining in Rawalpindi against Islamabad United making this their third win of the tournament.
Quetta Gladiators had won the toss and elected to field first with Islamabad United batting in the first innings and scoring a total of 187/7.
Despite the defeat United played quite well with Ingram and Shadab Khan giving an exceptional performance. CA Ingram scored 63 runs off 40 balls while Shadab Khan was able to add 39 runs off 25 balls.

On the Gladiators squad Jason Roy gave an outstanding performance in the match scoring 50 and completing his half century from just 38 balls. Sarfaraz Ahmed did his part scoring 33 runs off 20 balls with Mohammad Nawaz and Ben Cutting taking the team to victory at the end. Mohammad Nawaz scored 25 runs off 20 balls and Ben Cutting score an amazing 42 runs from just 17 balls including the last winning six that he pulled off getting the win for the Gladiators in style.
