Two more cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed by the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health (SAPM) Dr Zafar Mirza on Saturday in a press conference.
Dr Zafar Mirza said in the press conference:
We have received reports of two more positive cases of coronavirus, one has been reported in Sindh province, (the) other in federal areas,
He although did not make it clear about which city the patients are from saying that we should respect their privacy.

According to Dr Zafar Mirza, everything is under control and there is no need to panic. SAPM confirmed that the first two patients diagnosed were now doing better and one of them was about to be discharged soon saying:
One of the patients will be discharged from the hospital quite soon,
According to the Sindh Health Department one of the patients had returned from Iran and the patient along with those he came into contact with had been quarantined.
Dr Zafar Mirza confirmed that Pakistan is taking all necessary precautions and flights to Iran have been suspended and decision regarding the matter will be taken at a later date.
He even shed light on the hike in the prices of face masks and thought that it was unfortunate that there are people in the country who take advantage of such tragedies.
He continued to add that face masks were not necessary and people should just follow the instruction already told.
