Pillion riding banned in Sindh [Notification]

KARACIH: Home Department Government of Sindh issued directive of restricting any type of Pillion riding in Sindh province amid increase of Coronavirus (COVID19) cases.

Karachi police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon said that no one is exempted from ban on pillion riding, With the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Sindh, any type of pillion riding has been banned, women & children included.

The directive states that all previous exemptions in this regard have been withdrawn & no form of pillion riding is permitted.

“It is pertinent to clarify that pillion riding on motorbikes which will increase virus spread manifold is strictly not allowed,” the provincial home department had issued a clarification with regard to its lockdown orders.

Senator Murtaza Wahab reported one death in his daily updates on Twitter regarding the coronavirus numbers in Sindh and the total death toll of the province is now 48.
