ISLAMABAD: In an effort to help people during these hard time due to coronavirus lockdown Ehsaas Rashan Portal has been launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Dr Sania Nishtar briefed the Prime Minister on how the Ehsaas Rashan Portal will help donors that include philanthropists, charity organizations and others to register themselves to help out deserving families.
The private sector will be taking care of sourcing and delivering of Rashan or cash cash equivalent to the value of the Rashan. Donors can also choose which segment of beneficiaries they want to from support from a given list of parameters.
Donors and potential beneficiaries can register on the Ehsaas Rashan Portal on https://rashan.pass.gov.pk/ and eligible beneficiaries will be validated using the already obtained data of of the Ehsaas Program.
There is also a certain eligibility criteria for donors and only trustworty, tax compliant and at scale organizations will be allowed to become part of the Ehsaas Rashan Program.
How to Apply for Ehsaas Rashan Program?

Step 1:
Go to the Ehsas Rashan Program website to fill in the application form and submit.

Step 2:
Select the “Rashan Registration” option from the portal menu to proceed with the application for beneficiaries.

Step 3:
Fill out your details in the boxes shown on the Ehsaas Rashan (Ration) Program website (portal) that includes your name, CNIC, number of family members, complete address and mobile number.

Step 4:
After filling in all the details click on “submit” to complete your application for the Ehsaas Rashan Program on their portal.

ADOPT a Family…..
It is continous process of monthly basis, as ration has be made available every month, therefore
1. if some donors want to adopt a family.
2. He should be allowed to do this…
3. e.g. I adopted 5 families…I should be informed about amount say 3000 per month ration cost makes 15,000/-
4. Atleast 6 or 12 months adoption is allowed.
5. The donor is required to deposit money into bank at once
6. In this example supposing 6 months adoption, the donor is required to desposit 90,000 into bank.
7 The donor will upload, bank deposit slip then he will be given login Id and PW.
8 Where in all the necessary details of the adopted family will be made available for his verification and satisfaction.
9. for efficient system the distribution acknowledgement with the picture be made available to donor and can be viewed on his dashboard.
I think this way, we can cover wide area and people, who are in need of rations.
In my personal capacity I can adopt 4 families say 10 to 12 thousand per month.
And there are many many people who can much much more than me…
Please take note of my submissions and if possible, plz implement.
I would like to suggest…
There should be cash donors provisions.
If someone gives cash donation for this purpose.
There should bank accounts details, sothat the donor may deposit his donation.
Its details be made available in this portal, to incourage or invite other for this noble cause.
NOTE: Correction, while selecting “Karachi South” the next combe filled, which includes “Karachi”, which needs to be corrected
It seems to be an effective program through proper channel.
