KARACHI: Secretary Finance, Syed Hasan Naqvi, The Finance Department of Government of Sindh issued a notification directing all the provincial departments to full payment salaries and pensions on 18th May, 2020.
The notification issued on 6th May 2020 Government of Sindh decides to full salaries and pensions to all the employees of the Government departments ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr falling on 24th or 25th May 2020.
The Finance Department notifies all the departments state : “I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that on account of “Eid-Ul-Fitr” falling on 24th or 25th May, 2020. The Goverment of Sindh has been please to decide that full pay and allowances/full pension for the month of May, 2020 shall be paid in advance to all Muslim employees/pensioners of Provincial Government (Including work-charged and contingent paid staff) on 18th May, 2020. instead of 1st Jane, 2020.”
The Similar notification was issued by Federal Government, According to the notification, the federal government has directed the Accountant General of Pakistan Revenue, the Chief Accounts Officers as well as the Military Account General to make sure that salaries and pensions are paid out on 21 May, 2020.
