Sindh Govt bans pillion riding except for family members

KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has placed a complete ban of pillion riding in Sindh except for family members living together according to a notification published by the Sindh Home Department.

The notification also states that there will be no exception to this order in case of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), Journalist or media persons, co-workers and office staff.

This decision has been made to curb the spread of the coronavirus as the notification states that during pillion riding individuals are sitting in close proximity cause virus to spread from one person to the other and through him to the whole family.

Thus, Sindh Government has banned pillion riding to control the spread of the coronavirus.
