Opposition criticizes PM Khan for calling Osama Bin Laden “Shaheed”

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is being criticized by the opposition benches for calling the terrorists Osama Bin Laden a martyr (Shaheed) in the Pakistan National Assembly today.

Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Pakistan National Assembly said, “For Pakistani’s, it was a moment of embarrassment when the Americans came and killed Osama Bin Laden in Abottabad…Martyred him

This drew a critical response from the opposition as PML-N leader Khawaja Asif said, “Osama was a terrorist who destroyed my country our Prime Minister called him a Martyr (Shaheed)”.

Social media has been in a frenzy ever since the statement made by Prime Minister Imran Khan with people criticizing him for calling Osama Bin Laden a martyr (Shaheed).

The Ex-wife of PM Khan also took to Twitter to share her disappointment over the premier calling OBL a martyr.
