WhatsApp down reports are coming in on social media as users are having a hard time connecting to the encrypted messaging platform.
According to Downdetector which monitors websites and online services is reporting that WhatsApp is down in just United States and Europe however, users in Asia specifically Pakistan and India are also reporting issues connecting to the messaging service.
Downdetector reports at least 86 percent users are experiencing issues with the messenger connecting while 10 percent are reporting issues with receiving messages through WhatsApp.
Twitter is also trending with the hashtag #WhatsAppdown with users from all over reporting the same issues.
