ISLAMABAD: PlayerUnknown’s Battleground or PUBG has been unbanned in Pakistan according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) after a meeting with the company’s representatives.
According to the press release, Proxima Beta who were representing PUBG responded to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on its queries regarding the misuse of the gaming platform and the controls the company had in place.
Since Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) was satisfied with the response of the company regarding their queries and the measures put in place, it has decided to unban PUBG in Pakistan.
According to the regulatory authority, the company is working together with PTA and has ensured that all concerns of the regulator will be taken into account going forward.
On the request of the company’s representatives, PTA has stated that PUBG will be unbanned in Pakistan
PUBG ban in Pakistan was placed on 1 July 2020 after Punjab police requested the regulator to place the ban after two suicide cases in the province.
Now after working everything out with the company PUBG is going to be unbanned in Pakistan.
PUBG announces about game getting unbanned
The official Facebook page of PUBG Mobile posted announcing the unban of the battle royale royale game in Pakistan thanking fans and players for their patience and support.
They urged everyone to play in a responsible manner following the Gameplay Management System.
