Waseem Akhtar mentioned how areas like Malik and Korangi were in the worst administrative situation and the provincial government was focusing on taking hold of revenue generating departments by creating new districts like Keamari.

However, major stakeholders were not consulted regarding the decision as the provincial government just wants to earn money after distributing the Karachi.

Once again local political fever is on the rise in Karachi right ahead of the next local body elections and wall choking has noticed in different areas saying “Junubi Sindh Sooba, Jeay Afaq Bhai” which translates to “South Sindh Province, Long live Afaq brother”.

Although Muhajir Qaumi Movement Afaq (MQM-A) is a completely different party than MQM-P, they’re demands have been similar since decades.

After the Anti-Pakistan speech by Altaf Hussain worsen the situation for Muhajirs in Sindh due to which political leadership had to disown Altaf Hussain and restart with a new name MQM Pakistan.

Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar is always seen complaining about the powers and lack of funds to serve the people of Karachi is once again demanding to declare Karachi as a province.

Karachi is the deprived metropolis and financial hub of Pakistan and has been the target of various political groups who have been demanding that the port city be declared a separate province to end the quota system.

Karachi is a financial and business hub of Pakistan with two largest sea ports and four different industrial zones generating 75% of the revenue for the country.

Mayor Karachi also talked about MQM-P raising its voice on the incorrect consensus of the city and making half the population of the large metropolis simply vanish (obviously, he meant it in a metaphorical way).

The population of Karachi is now 30 million however, in the 2017 consensus, the port city’s population was declared as 17 million completely ignoring the actual figure.

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
