The coronavirus crisis in China is finally under control and the months long Wuhan lockdown has finally been lifted and people are finally allowed to leave homes since 23 January when strict restrictions were put in place.
The Wuhan lockdown has been lifted a day after when China reported no deaths on Tuesday which is the first time since the country began publishing its figures for COVID-19.
Wuhan is where the coronavirus pandemic first started and the city of 11 million people was placed under strict lockdown with restrictions on travel and people not being allowed to leave their homes. even most businesses were shut down.

According to Chinese authorities these measures are the reason they have been able to take control of the situation and get the spread of the COVID-19 virus under control.
Public transport will also become operational for approved residents on scanning of a QR code which is unique of each person and links their confirmed health status.
Highway roadblocks have been removed and train, road and rail connections have been re-established with over a 100 high-speed trains ready to depart and around 200 flights scheduled to depart from Wuhan.
However, there are still strict lockdowns in some other places in China although China has been able to curb the overall spread of the coronavirus and is gradually getting back to normal.
