Changan Master Motors have notified of a massive hike in the prices of its vehicles. According to the notification, the price of Changan Alsvin, Changan Karvaan, and Changan M9 in Pakistan has been increased from 19 April 2022. The development comes amid a wave of price hikes by automotive manufacturers, which is taking these vehicles out of the reach of many people.
Changan Alsvin Price in Pakistan
The price of Changan Alsvin M/T has been increased by Rs. 280,000 to Rs. 2,769,000 from the old price of Rs. 2,489,000, while the price of Changan Alsvin DCT is now Rs. 3,024,000 against the previous price of Rs. 2,744,000 after a hike of Rs. 280,000. Similarly, the price of top-of-the-line Changan Alsvin Lumiere is now Rs. 3,219,000 after a hike of Rs. 280,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,939,000.

However, the price hike for Changan Alsvin in Pakistan will take place with a step-wise manner and not all customers will be affected by the raised prices of the vehicle. According to the company, the customers who have made full payments with tentative delivery date of May 2022 will be exempted from the price hike.
The customers who have made partial payment with tentative delivery date of may 2022 and payment instrument dated April 28, 2022, or before will have to pay partially increased prices as mentioned below.

Changan Karvaan Price in Pakistan
The price of Changan Karvaan Standard in Pakistan is now Rs. 2,069,000 after an increase of Rs. 275,000 from the old rate of Rs. 1,794,000, while the price of Changan Karvaan Plus has been increased by Rs. 275,000 to the new price of Rs. 2,219,000 against the old rate of Rs. 1,944,000.

As for the new customers with partial payment / full payment and June 2022 onwards tentative delivery date will have to pay the full new price of Changan Alsvin in Pakistan.
However, the price hike for the Changan Karvaan in Pakistan will take place in four stages. According to the company, the customers who have made the full payment with tentative delivery date of May 2022 and payment instrument dated April 18, 2022, or before will be exempted from the price hike.
Meanwhile, the customers with partial payment and tentative delivery date of March 2022 and payment instrument date of April 28, 2022, or before will have to pay partially increased prices as mentioned below.

However, the customers with new orders and partial payment (May 2022) or partial / full payment (June 2022) with a tentative delivery date of May 2022 onwards will have to pay the full new price of Changan Karvaan in Pakistan.
Changan M9 Price in Pakistan
The price of Changan M9 in Pakistan is Rs. 1,784,000 after an increase of Rs. 275,000 from the old rate of Rs. 1,509,000. This new price will be applicable to all new orders and customers with partial payment (May 2022) or partial / full payment (June 2022) and a tentative delivery date of May 2022 onwards.
Meanwhile, the customers with partial payment and tentative delivery date of March 2022 and payment instrument date of April 28, 2022, or before will have to pay partially increased price of Rs. 1,684,000, which is Rs. 175,000 more than the old price of the vehicle.
Furthermore, those customers who have made partial payment with tentative delivery date of April 2022 and balance payment instrument dated May 7, 2022, or before will pay the price of Rs. 1,734,000 for the Changan M9, which is Rs. 225,000 above the old price of the vehicle.

In this recent wave of price hikes in the automotive industry, KIA Lucky Motors have also raised prices for all their vehicles in Pakistan by up to Rs. 300,000. Meanwhile, the other major players are expected to follow with their respective notifications soon.
