Changan Oshan X7 Plus Launching in Pakistan Next Week

Master Changan Motors is all set to launch the Changan Oshan X7 Plus in Pakistan in the SUV segment next week after their successful entry into the automotive sector through the Changan Alsvin. The launch of the Changan Oshan X7 Plus will take place on 7th February 2022 in an online ceremony, while the company will also hold a digital launch of the vehicle on 11th February 2022.

According to PakWheels, the company has displayed the Changan Oshan X7 Plus at various dealerships in Lahore and more information about the vehicle will be revealed on its launch in Pakistan scheduled for next week. However, we already know the international specifications of the vehicle so it may be assumed that Master Changan Motors plans to offer something similar in Pakistan as well.

The Changan Oshan X7 Plus will take on the already popular Kia Sportage or Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan despite being a mid-sized crossover SUV due to the smaller engine size. However, the vehicle will be marketed as a premium option which may result in a higher price tag. The vehicle will reportedly have five-seat and seven-seat options with the latest bells and whistles expected from a new vehicle in today’s world.

Engine and Transmission

Internationally, the Changan Oshan X7 Plus comes with a 1.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 178 horsepower and 300 Newton-meters of torque, while mated with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
