Changan Pakistan is making headlines once again as the company is expected to launch the Changan UNI T as the most affordable SUV in Pakistan.
The Changan UNI T is already on display at the company’s showroom in Karachi while the SUV is being tested for a potential launch in Pakistan.

About Changan UNI T
The UNI-T is a crossover SUV which was introduced by Changan in China last year and if it is launched in Pakistan, the vehicle will take on the likes of Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage, both of which have been very successful in the local automotive market.
Furthermore, the Changan UNI T will also take on some other newcomers like the Proton X70, DFSK Glory and the MG HS along with the highly expensive Toyota Corolla Cross, which is one of the latest crossover SUVs introduced in Pakistan.
Engine and Transmission
The Changan UNI-T variant being tested in Pakistan is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine, producing an impressive 177 HP and 300 Nm of torque while mated with an automatic 7-speed Dual Clutch Tranmission (DCT) system.
Exterior
The Changan UNI-T offers a futuristic design which makes the SUV stand out when compared to most of its competition with a diamond style front grille with sharp headlights and door handles that blend in with the body of the vehicle.
The SUV is equipped with a moonroof, which is different from the conventional sunroof as it does not open but is designed with a tinted glass panel to let light inside. The vehicle is also equipped with stylish tail and fog lamps along with 20-inch alloy wheels.
Interior
The interior of the Changan UNI T is equally impressive and offers all of the latest features with a very simplistic look and no major clutter.

Changan UNI T Price in Pakistan
The Changan UNI T is expected to launch with a price of Rs. 2.5 million to Rs. 2.6 million in Pakistan as per the currency exchange rate, making it the most affordable SUV in the country.
However, this is just an expected conversion based on the vehicle’s price in China and we will have to wait for an official announcement by the company.
