Regal Automobiles aka Prince DFSK has taken to social media to tease launch of its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in Pakistan. While the company did not share any further details, it provided a glimpse of what could possibly be an upcoming BEV or PHEV vehicle.
According to the details, the vehicle shown in the social media post is a DFSK Seres S3, which will directly compete with the newly launched, MG ZS EV. However, it must be mentioned that the company has not made any official announcement regarding the Seres S3 being launched in Pakistan.
Powertrain
The DFSK Seres S3 is equipped with an electric motor on the front axle and a battery pack of 52KWh with a maximum range 405 km. In terms of power, the vehicle produces 160 horsepower (hp) and 300 Newton metres (Nm) of torque.

Price
The expected price of DFSK Seres S3 in Pakistan is Rs. 5-6 million based on the current exchange rate when converting the price of the vehicle in China. However, it the vehicle is launched, it will be priced higher due to increasing inflation and economic condition of the country.
The news regarding Prince DFSK launching an Electric Vehicle (EV) or Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in Pakistan comes just a few days after Pakistani entrepreneur and major stakeholder in MG Pakistan, Javed Afridi, teased the MG 4 EV.
