Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) is officially launching the highly-anticipated Honda HR-V (aka Vezel) in Pakistan this weekend. According to the company’s social media post, it is ready to debut the Honda HR-V in two days, which is almost three months after announcing the vehicle at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2022.
“Just 2 more days to go, Honda HR-V is coming your way.” the company said while teasing the launch of the highly-anticipated crossover SUV. It is pertinent to mention that Honda HR-V is also known as the Honda Vezel in some regions and the hybrid-version of the vehicle has already very popular in the country.
Variants
Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) reportedly plans to launch two locally assembled variants of the Honda HR-V in Pakistan. According to the details, the base variant of the Honda HR-V will be called VTi, while the top-of-the-line variant will be named VTi-S.
Honda HR-V Expected Price in Pakistan
The expected price of the Honda HR-V VTi in Pakistan is Rs. 6.3 to 6.5 million, while the top-of-the-line VTi S variant will be sold for Rs. 6.7 million. If the vehicle ends up being priced similar to the report, it will provide tough competition to already popular crossover SUVs in the local automotive market like the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson or even MG HS.
Engine and Transmission
According to the report, the Honda HR-V is expected to be launched in Pakistan with the same 1.5L engine found in the Honda BR-V, a popular 7-seater SUV by the company, with a CVT transmission. Furthermore, the base variant is expected to provide 145 horsepower (hp), while the top-of-the-line variant will be able to produce 189 horsepower (hp).
Features
The Honda HR-V is going to have loads of features, including Honda Sensing that will includes blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, lane keep assist, autonomous braking system, traffic sign reading, lane departure warning, and more.
