Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has launched a Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 variant with Constant Variable Transmission (CVT) and bookings for the vehicle are underway at dealerships across the country.
However, the company has not made an official announcement regarding the launch date for the Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 variant with a CVT gearbox or the price of the vehicle in Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention that the Toyota Corolla 1.6 was available with a 4-speed automatic transmission and only the 1.8L variants were equipped with a CVT gearbox.

Bookings
According to an Toyota Dealership in Islamabad, the booking for the Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 with CVT is already open at old prices and the customer will need to pay the difference upon delivery with the updated price for the extra feature once its revealed by the company.
Delivery
Currently, the company is giving a delivery date of of 4 to 6 months, but it could take longer considering the crisis being faced by the automotive industry due to harder process of getting Letter of Credits (LCs) for the import of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits.
Update: It is now expected that delivery of the vehicles will start from December 30 or 31, 2022.
