Kia Lucky Motors have notified of a massive increase in their car prices in Pakistan as the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) continues to decline against the US Dollar (USD). According to the details, company has increased the price of Kia Picanto, Kia Sportage, Kia Stonic, Kia Sorento, and Kia Carnival in Pakistan by up to Rs. 1.1 million, depending on the model.
“Unfortunately, due to continuous devaluation of PKR to USD, we are compelled to increase the prices of Kia products effective July 19, 2022.” said the company in its notification, while adding that booking of certain variants has been opened as well.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Rupee has fallen to an all-time record-low of Rs. 221.99 against the US Dollar at the closing of the interbank market on 19 July 2022.

Kia Picanto Price in Pakistan
The price of Kia Picanto in Pakistan has been increased by a massive Rs. 500,000 for both variants, bringing the new price of the M/T variant to Rs. 3,100,000 and the A/T variant to Rs. 3,200,000 compared to the old price of Rs. 2,600,000 and Rs. 2,700,000, respectively.

The price of Kia Stonic has also been increased by Rs. 76,000 bringing the new price to Rs. 4,545,000 for the EX variant and Rs. 4,848,000 for the EX+ variant against old price of Rs. 4,469,250 and Rs. 4,772,250, respectively. It bears mentioning that Kia Stonic has seen the least increase in its price compared to other models being offered by the company.

The price of Kia Sportage Alpha in Pakistan is now Rs. 6,250,000 after a massive increase of Rs. 897,000 over the old price of Rs. 5,353,000. Similarly, the price of Kia Sportage FWD is Rs. 6,750,000 after increase of Rs. 892,000 over old price of Rs. 5,858,000. Meanwhile, the price of Kia Sportage AWD is now Rs. 7,250,000 with increase of Rs. 887,000 over old price of Rs. 6,363,000.
