Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to order your new number plates easily through the E-Payment GoS app:

Step 1: Download the App

First, download the E-Payment GoS app on your mobile phone. The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

Step 2: Select ‘Number Plate Request’

Once installed, open the app and choose the “Number Plate Request” option from the menu.

Step 3: Enter Vehicle Details

You will need to enter:

  • Your vehicle registration number
  • Your mobile phone number (for updates and notifications)

Step 4: Choose Collection Branch

Previously, number plates were only available at Karachi Civic Center, but now you can collect them from multiple locations:

  • Karachi
  • Hyderabad
  • Sukkur
  • Mirpurkhas

If you were never issued a number plate before, the system will automatically adjust the charges accordingly.

  • Make the payment through the app.
  • Print the challan receipt—you will need this when collecting your plates.

Step 6: Collect Your Number Plates

Once you receive a text message notification from Sindh Excise, you can visit your selected branch to pick up the plates. Typically, plates are ready within a month.

Important Tips:

  • Make sure to keep your payment receipt safe as proof.
  • Keep an eye on your phone for SMS updates regarding collection.
  • If you face issues, you can contact your local Excise and Taxation office for assistance.
