Pak Suzuki Extends Shutdown for Motorcycles Plant

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has decided to extend the shutdown of its motorcycle production plant until 28th April due to shortage of inventory level.

In a letter sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) said, “Due to shortage of inventory level as notified vide out letter dated April 04, 2023, the management of the company has decided to extend shutdown period of its motorcycle plant till April 28, 2023.”

“Further update, if any, in this regard will be communicated accordingly.” it added.

Previously, the company had announced a shut down of its production plant for motorcycles from April 4 to April 15. However, the latest circular states that it has extended the shutdown period till 28th April.

Despite the shutdown of its motorcycle plant, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has increased the prices of its motorcycles as well, taking their flagship bike to Rs. 501,000.
