Pak Suzuki Recalls Alto Over Fault in Fuel Filler Neck

Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) has issued a recall for Suzuki Alto over a fault in the Fuel Neck Filler. According to the details, the car manufacturer has recalled Suzuki Alto model 2019, 2020, and 2021 to replace the faulty part for free from the nearest authorized dealership.

However, the company in is public notice states that the recall has been issued for vehicles in Karachi city and will gradually be extended throughout the country. The decision may have been taken to ensure supply of the faulty part since Suzuki Alto is one of the most sold vehicles in Pakistan.

According to the public notice, the Fuel Filler Neck of Suzuki Alto may be prone to catching rush over time that may end up getting perforated as a result. Pak Suzuki has instructed its customers to take their vehicles to the nearest Suzuki dealership have have the faulty part replaced after necessary inspection.

The Fuel Filler Neck is the first part of the tube that carries the petrol to the tank while refilling. This part is made of metal and rusting may cause perforation as well as rust being mixed into the petrol and cause damage to the engine. Therefore, in order to ensure smooth functioning, Pak Suzuki has issued a recall for Suzuki Alto to replace the faulty part.
