Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has shut down motorcycle assembly for almost three weeks due to the going economic crisis and shortage of inventory.
According to Pak Suzuki’s letter issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the motorcycle assembly plant will remain closed from May 23, 2023 to June 10, 2023.
However, the automobile plant will remain operational as per normal schedule.

It has become a common practice for automotive companies to observe non-production days (NPDs) due to the worsening economic conditions and shortage of inventory resulting from restrictions on LCs.
