Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) teased an upcoming vehicle, the Honda HR-V, at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2022) held in Lahore. According to the company, the Honda HR-V is coming soon to Pakistan, however, the exact launch date for the vehicle was not revealed at the event.
It is pertinent to mention that Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) is already testing the Honda HR-V in Pakistan as unit of the vehicle was spotted last month and spurred excitement among automotive enthusiasts. According to the details, the company is planning to launch the vehicle in the local automotive industry soon.
However, it may take some time as automotive companies are currently struggling keeping up with already booked orders due to the constraints with obtaining Letter of Credits (LCs) from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to import Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits.
Honda HR-V Specifications
The Honda HR-V, which is also known as the Honda Vezel in some markets, comes in multiple powertrains depending on the market, including a hybrid option. However, the exact specifications Honda Atlas plans on launching in Pakistan are still unknown and more details are expected in the coming weeks.
The Honda HR-V does include Honda Sensing, which offers a range of safety features for the driver, including:

Expected Price
The expected price of the Honda HR-V is hard to guess due to the constant devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar (USD to PKR) in recent weeks as the local currency has fallen to a record low against the greenback reaching almost Rs. 240.
However, the company imported the vehicle at a cost of Rs. 6.05 million.
