The much-awaited Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2022) will hold the three day event in Lahore instead of Pakistan from 29 July 2022 to 31 July 2022. The Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) decided to change the date for the annual event due to non-availability of space in Karachi. Therefore, the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2022) will now be held at the Expo Center in Lahore.
The Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) is being organized for the past 20 years and it is attended by local as well as foreign auto brands to exhibit their vehicles every year, while thousands of visitors come to the event in order to witness the latest innovations in the automotive sector.

It is pertinent to mention that PAPS 2021 was delayed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic and it was never held last year but the Pakistan Auto Show has now been scheduled for July 2022 and hopefully these dates will be final. However, the COVID-19 positivity rate is currently on the rise across the country and NCOC has placed new set of restrictions to contain the disease and if it continues to surge, the PAPS 2022 might end up getting delayed like the previous year’s event.
Furthermore, the PAPS 2022 is the first Auto Show to take place since the Federal Government revealed the New Auto Policy (2021-26) and there is great interest by several car makers, who have already reserved half of the stalls, revealed the PAAPAM General Secretary Ghulam Murtaza.
