The company stated, “We would like to address the recent circulation of false information on social media regarding Al-Haj Automotive suspending our authorized Proton dealership network and its services.”

It added, “We want to make it clear to all our customers and public in general that these rumors are fake, baseless and have malicious intent.”

Al-Haj stated that it was fully committed to provide Sales, Service, and Genuine Parts through its authorized dealership network to valued customers and owners of Proton vehicles.

The company admitted that it has been through difficulties because of the country’s economic hardship, however, it remains fully committed to provide uninterrupted sales and services to customers.

Al-Haj Automobile added that it reserves the right to take legal action against those responsible for spreading false rumors on social media.
