Al-Haj Automotive Group has finally launched the Proton X70 compact-SUV in Pakistan on Friday (18th December 2020) in two variants, including the Executive All Wheel Drive (AWD) and the Premium Front Wheel Drive (FWD) which is the higher end model of the vehicle.

It is pertinent to mention that both these variants will be sold as Completely Built Units (CBUs) imported from Malaysia until local production starts during the second quarter of 2021 according to the Al-Haj Automotive CEO Hilal Khan Afridi.
The imported CBU is priced higher compared to the locally assembled CKD vehicle that will be available later next year once their assembly plant becomes operational.

Proton X70 Payable Booking Amount
The amount payable at the time of booking for the imported Proton X70 is Rs. 2,000,000 while the pre-booking for the locally assembled vehicle is now open at Rs. 500,000 across the small network of dealerships.
It is pertinent to mention that the Proton X70 comes with a 5 years of 150,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).
