Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) has launched a fully electric rickshaw, the Sazgar eVe, that will help save running costs and maintenance during these tough times.
According to the details, the Sazgar eVe has a range of 100 kilometers on a single charge that will help save users Rs. 226,800 per year on fuel and Rs. 66,000 on maintenance on an annual basis.
Design
The Sazgar eVe is built on the iconic cultural rickshaw with the same vehicle architecture and foot print, while being adaptive to the urban landscape. Meanwhile, the interior is also modernized to fit the user’s comfort with an upgraded handlebar, which has been designed as per the latest standards.
The rickshaw also features modern ambient lighting.
Power and Transmission
The Sazgar eVe comes with a 2 kWh motor and a 90 Ah (6.5kWh) battery that is capable of providing a range of 100 kilometers at a maximum speed of 90 Km/h and with a charging time of just 4 hours.
