ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has launched Tax Asaan Smartphone app (Android/iOS) for salaried persons. Friendly User Interface (UI) and easy-to-use features makes the Income Tax return app useful.
Tax Asaan is Smart Application developed for Federal Board of Revenue, Government of Pakistan to facilitate its Taxpayers, to use commonly re features as available on various FBR Websites. The features currently available are:
1. Online Verification Services
2. e-Payment
3. Taxpayer Login
‘Income Tax Return app’ known as Tax Assan app can be downloaded from Google play store and Apple store.
Online Verification Services provide a mechanism to Taxpayer to make online inquiries about different statuses e.g. Status of a Taxpayer in Active Taxpayer List, information about Exemption Certificate, Notices, and Orders issued to Taxpayer through Iris, NTN/CNIC/STRN, etc. based inquiries.
Now, FBR Taxpayer can generate Payments through Tax Asaan.
New Feature for Sales Tax Registration has been added to Application. Through this process, Taxpayers can register their business for Sales Tax with minimal effort and with ease. This simplified Sales Registration process will help the Taxpayers to expedite their registration process.
