Today Gold price in Pakistan has hit a record high of Rs. 121,900 per tola on 27 July 2020 for 24k gold which is the highest in the history of the country.
This increase in the gold rate in Pakistan was in line with the global rate where gold has spiked to $1,928 per ounce which is the highest ever mainly due to decline in the US dollar against other major currencies.
A factor towards the increase in Gold prices has been the tensions between the the United States and China with both sides ordering the closure of their consulates.

International gold prices have hit record high as well surpassing the previous rate of $1,928 per ounce back in 2011.
