Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) has not implemented any reductions in car prices in Pakistan, despite a circulating fake notification on social media suggesting otherwise. This misinformation emerged following recent price cuts by other companies in the automotive sector.
Several companies, including Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC), and Changan Master Motor, have indeed reduced the prices of their respective vehicles. LMC notably decreased the price of the Kia Stonic by a significant Rs. 1.5 million, while PSMC slashed the price of the Swift GLX CVT by Rs. 710,000. Additionally, Changan Master Motor lowered the price of the Oshan X7 by Rs. 400,000.
Unfortunately, an individual or group capitalized on this trend of price reductions and disseminated a fabricated notification across social media platforms. This fake notification falsely claimed price reductions of up to Rs. 600,000 for Honda vehicles.
As a result, consumers should exercise caution and verify information from credible sources before believing or sharing such notifications. HACPL has not made any announcements regarding price adjustments, and any information suggesting otherwise should be treated with skepticism.
