Toyota Yaris booking has already started from 19 March 2020 across Toyota 3S Dealerships in Pakistan however, Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has suspended the launch event for the car amid the coronavirus outbreak. The Toyota Yaris is available in two engine segments that include a 1.3L and 1.5L engine with different variants. The Yaris will be replacing the Toyota Corolla XLi and GLi variants however, Toyota Altis will remain unaffected in its 1.8L engine segment.

Toyota Yaris will be competing directly with Honda City in both the 1.3L and 1.5L engine segments and the Suzuki Ciaz as well. There is also upcoming competition like the Hyundai Elantra that will be in competition with the car.

This was a comparison of the Toyota Yaris GLi 1.3L Manual variant with the Toyota Corolla GLi 1.3L Manual variant as the Yaris doesn’t have a XLi variant available and the cheapest variant is the GLi that is available for the Yaris.
