Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has confirmed that the upcoming matric and intermediate (class 10 and 12) exams in the province, which will be held in July but the exact date for the examinations will be decided in the next two days.
The education minister was addressing a press conference at the Bilawal House Media Cell in Karachi, where he said that Sindh had already decided to conduct annual matric and intermediate exams for 2021 whereas other provinces were yet to make the decision.
The decision has been taken after consulting the Sindh Education and Literacy Department and all the stake holders in the education sector.
Furthermore, the final decision regarding exams for classes 1 to 8 will be taken in the coming days.
Moreover, a meeting of the Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) will take place today and discuss all decisions regarding the exams of matric and intermediate while taking the pandemic into consideration.
