According to the details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is providing 100,000 free laptops to deserving students under the Prime Minister (PM) Youth Laptop Scheme 2023.
The students are being provided a Lenovo laptop with very reasonable specifications. Sharing the details of the laptops, the government’s X handle stated, “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2023 has brought yet another 100,000 Laptops with some promising specifications for merit scholars of Pakistan.”
The specs or specifications of the laptops under the PM Laptop Scheme have been revealed in a post by the Government of Pakistan on Twitter.

Students are advised to apply online by registering or updating their profile at the following link of the Students’ Service Portal. https://pmyp.gov.pk/
Please refer to the Students’ Service Portal available at https://laptop.pmyp.gov.pk and register to be considered as per the defined eligibility and merit criteria. However, if you are already registered or have validated your record at the above-referred portal during Phase II of the scheme, then you are required to update your profile at the portal.
Students meeting the criteria as defined for the scheme are eligible; however, there shall be no reserve quota for orphans.

Laptops will be distributed by university as per scheduled date of distribution. You will receive an email stating time and date for the collection of laptop. For Further details contact university/institute focal person for the distribution of laptops.
