The Government of Punjab has announced winter vacations for public and private colleges and universities across the province.
According to the notification, all public and private colleges and universities under the jurisdiction of Higher Education Department (HED) in Punjab shall remain closed for winter vacations from 24 December 2022 to 31 December 2022.
The notification added that all colleges (both public and private) shall re-open on Monday, 2 January 2023 and resume full / normal week for all classes. Furthermore, BS (4 Year) programs will continue to function and all examinations shall be held as per the notified schedule of Boards and Universities.

The University of Punjab (PU) has already announced dates for winter vacations from 26 December 2022 (Monday and conclude on 30 December 2022 (Friday).

Earlier, the Punjab Government had announced winter vacations for all public and private schools in the province from 24th December 2022 to 31st December 2022.
