In a Tweet, Punjab Education Minister, Dr Murad Raas, said that summary for the regularization of 14,000 teachers in government educational institutions has been initiated, signed, and moved forward. He added that promises made are now being delivered and more good news is coming soon.

It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Government initially planned to regularize thousands of teachers during its previous tenure, but the plan was shelved after it was ousted in April. However, PTI has established a coalition government with PML-Q in Punjab and restarted the process of regularization of teachers.

Earlier in June, the PTI-led Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) also announced to regularize thousands of teachers in the province. According to the announcement, the KP Government said it will make 58,000 teachers permanent, while also regularizing 4,070 employees of the ex-FATA project and 720 ad-hoc doctors.
