Pakistani Tv show host and social media sensation Mathira has become the latest victim of a disturbing trend, the non-consensual release of private videos targeting celebrities.
The host of the popular show “Desi Rapper” is the latest high-profile name to be embroiled in a privacy breach scandal, following similar cases involving other Pakistani social media stars Imsha Rehman.
Rumors of Mathira’s leaked video circulate on social media

Similarly, back in October 2021, Mathira’s video viral video was leaked on which she claims that the leaked video which has gone viral is not real and has been edited by someone.
The government must take immediate action against TikTokers and influencers who are involved in leaking explicit videos, as these incidents are becoming a disturbing trend in Pakistan.
These videos have almost become a weekly occurrence, negatively impacting the moral fabric of society.
There needs to be a proper law in place to address such issues, ensuring that influencers and celebrities understand the consequences of sharing or promoting inappropriate content.
Additionally, the government should prioritize the protection of private data, holding individuals accountable for breaches.
If these influencers fail to safeguard their personal information, serious legal consequences should follow, to prevent further exploitation and harm to public morals.
